One tool that I find invaluable in my efforts for finding the right keywords to use is Wordtracker. It allows you to rapidly build lists of keywords not just by providing the number of times it is searched per month (like the overture tool), but it provides the info on a daily basis. It also gives you insight as to how many competing pages you will face for any given term. This way you can optimize for terms that generate traffic and are less competitive.
